Abuelita
This is Luis' Grandma "Abuelita" She lives on a 15 acre ranch in San Marcos, Nicaragua. The ranch is filled with fruit trees like Mango, Papaya, Bananas, Coconut, Avocado, Mandarins, Sweet Lemons, Oranges, and Coffee. She makes her living by selling sections to street vendors to harvest. They will come and purchase an acre to harvest the fruit. They go and pick all the fruit and coffee within the acre and then they sell it on the streets.
Nicaragua
These are some pictures from one of our Nicaragua Trips. Luis is from Nicaragua and his family still resides there. We go once a year to visit. The first picture is the sunset from a beach on the Pacific side of Nicaragua. The second pic is Luis on the beach. The third is an 0ld Cathedral in Granada, Nicaragua. The fourth is Luis climbing a tree to get a Mango. The last is my favorite. That is the street that Luis grew up on. His mom still lives there and this guy on the wagon is "The Cheese Man" He has been passing by every morning since Luis was a little boy. We always stop and talk to him when we are there. He sells homemade Queso Seco to the neighborhood.
